You’re a  woman, a professional, possibly a mom, and certainly an adult daughter.  The roles you hold are powerful in your life, sometimes creating strain, but also a source of motivation for growth and a sense of purpose. You do a lot, working, possibly raising a family, helping those you care about but feel disconnected from yourself, stuck, and constantly worry about upsetting people in your life. You’re a problem solver, a helper, and get so much done. People can turn to you for support, advice, a compassionate ear, but right now you feel drained, frustrated and resentful because having your needs taken care doesn’t seem to matter. Maybe you want to explode in anger, or shut down with despair, but asking for what you need, let alone what you want is uncomfortable.

You find yourself just feeling “off”. Often awake at night replaying conversations in your mind, imagining worst case scenarios or reliving a difficult experience. Muscle tension & a clenched jaw, is way of life; massages never last long enough. Your body, sleep & energy levels feel different from what they used to be; feeling both revved up, but also drained at the same time, on edge. What normally helped you manage this in the past doesn’t seem to help much anymore.

You notice the worry of disappointing or upsetting certain people shows up regularly. It feels like a big risk to say what you need, change a plan, or share what’s bothering you - “what if I they won’t like me?”, “what if they think I’m a bad person?” “what if they get angry?” Self-doubt and insecurities persist; but how to move on? You know about boundaries, but implementing them can feel harrowing at times, how will the other person react!?. You want to feel empowered, grounded, centered, like the adult you are, but when engaging with certain people in your life, it’s like you’re catapulted into a younger version of yourself - you wonder, “why is this still happening?!” or  “how do I not pass this onto my kids!?”

When it comes to your inner life, the soulful part of you has taken a back seat for a long time now, missing a sense of awe or wonder with the world. Play, feels like a distant fantasy, or maybe something you never had time for. You yearn to feel connected not just in relationships but to the parts of you that have become buried or feel lost. You just want to feel better -to have your life force energy back. Remembering who you are deep down, beyond the roles you hold or the pain you’ve been through is something you want to experience, but it feels nearly impossible in knowing how.

If you relate to some of this, welcome. Let’s talk. First of all, you’re not alone. Second of all, how about some support just for YOU. Feeling ready enough to carve out an hour per week for yourself? Want to get to the heart of what is happening for yourself? This is my wheelhouse, getting to the heart of things that don’t seem obvious, helping women feel safe enough in taking care of themselves, knowing they matter, and speaking their needs. I help you grow into who you really feel you are, feeling freer, safe, confident and taken care of from within.
