about me & my practice

I love this work. This is why I do it.

I live it, I see it, and this is sacred work.

I’m a woman, a business owner, a mom, an adult daughter, a spouse in a bicultural marriage. Women create, give, serve, and are often running full stop, influencing so many people in their roles with work and/or family and deserve a therapeutic space with someone who is not only highly skilled in helping them but can also understand the terrain they walk. So often, it’s what didn’t get to happen in our past that contributes to the challenges that arise presently, or it’s what was so normalized in our homes, our religions, our cultures, literally the air we breathed that plays a part in what feels so hard to pinpoint and relieve within ourselves now.

I think it’s important to have help and support to navigate the dynamics of internalized cultural expectations, the myriad of changes not just our bodies go through, but also our hearts and spirits during the journey of adult womanhood. From perimenopause, menopause, perinatal, postnatal, birthing businesses, organizations, art, or communities. Women are creating and generating so much in the world and so often receiving very little back.

I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor in the state of Maryland, and both a certified life coach & certified mother-daughter coach. I’m a seeker of growth, and have always been a helper, healer, and lover of deep diving.

Good Faith Estimates & No Surprises Act

On January 1, 2022, congress enacted a "No Surprises Act" Under the law, health care providers, including mental health providers, must give clients who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for services. If you are a client of mine, you will always know what services you are receiving, consenting to and paying for. We estimate the therapy cost based on the session frequency and cost, which I recommend is weekly. The duration of our work together will be collaborated upon and mutually agreed upon.
